Hello, I'm Oscar Serna, founder of Oscar & Sons Jewelers. My journey in the jewelry industry began with a deep appreciation for the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into every piece. I have dedicated my career to understanding our customers' unique challenges and desires, ensuring each piece we create is beautiful and meaningful. At Oscar & Sons Jewelers in Chicago, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and quality that our clients can trust.
Born in Colombia in 1952, Oscar was the 15th of 18 kids in his family. He has always been known to love jewelry design and watches but is even more known for his passion of people. As a curious young boy playing with his father’s manual-wind wristwatch, he learned the ins and outs of crafting watches when somehow his father’s timepiece turned up broken, picked apart piece by piece. Having to reassemble his father’s watch sparked a curiosity that would ultimately bring him to the heart of Bridgeport in the southside of Chicago, ripe for opportunity.
Oscar first opened the doors of his jewelry store in 1976, and with many years of experience themselves, his son has now taken over to manage and continue serving high-quality products and services for the entire Chicagoland area. Oscar Jr, the son of Oscar, has now taken over the business to continue his legacy.
